As most of you know, I write for Bleeding Cool. In the past, I had an ongoing column entitled Countdown To The Eisners, where I would give my well-researched picks of the nominees in every category leading up to the Eisner Awards in July at Comic-Con International. Unfortunately, I had to take down the article due to the fact that it wasn’t a balanced article with only one nominee being covered. That was my bad, for instead of skipping the article because of this, I decided to press forward. My intent wasn’t to throw shade at the publishers that didn’t send me reviews, but I can definitely see how it could be perceived as such. I do apologize for the lapse in judgement.
Moving forward, I’ll learn from this mistake and try to exercise better editorial thinking to future pieces. Sorry everyone, I feel like I’ve let you down.
